Nikka is one of the two great houses of Japanese whisky, founded by Masataka Taketsuru, considered the father of Japanese whisky. Its Yoichi distillery, in Hokkaido, and Miyagikyo produce single malts of opposite character, intense and peaty the first, smooth and fruity the second. From the Barrel and Coffey Grain are also famous.
